Bird Advent calendar – Day 4

For Day four of my count down to Christmas is a common garden bird, the Blue Tit.

The Blue tits always appear in our garden however they do bicker a lot amongst themselves.  Their main diet is insects and seeds but they do like to have fat balls in the winter and they are always the first on the filled coconut shells.

The male and female look similar although the female is slightly paler than the male.

Two of the photos I took today and two are ones I took earlier in the year

Look at my blog tomorrow to see a new bird.
