Snowday

Today is the second snowday or day off school due to the weather, which gave me chance to catch up with December’s – If you go down to the woods today…….

I write around 50 words each month for my Parish website about what visitors can expect to find in the local wood as the seasons change.

If you go down to the wood today….
You will come across a Winter Wonderland. Tiny stars falling from the skies, blanketing the ground until everything becomes unfamiliar. Ice crystals covering branches and leaves, shine in the mid-day sun. Footprints silently show where animals have passed in the night, crossing the frozen landscape.
