Big Garden Bird Watch 2020

With bird feeders topped up and camera at the ready, I settled down to see which birds visited my garden during the RSPB’s annual Big Garden Bird Watch. As always I completed this important piece of citizen science between 9am and 10am.

This year was slightly different as I concentrated on the front garden rather than the back garden, this way I would have a helping hand from the Birdsy camera. As you can see from the results below, it didn’t make much of a difference.

(The Birdsy camera is an hour out)

The weather itself was miserable and cloudy, with a little drizzle.

  3. What a nice variety of birds supported in your garden, Alex. That’s a wonderful review of GOBO and I enjoyed your article in New Nature Magazine, too. I never regret making the effort to get out the door!
